Hey guys, I decided to start a new blog series to kind of give my photos more depth and share my thought process behind the images I create. I love posting my work on Facebook and Instagram but I really feel the need to share with you guys what goes into creating composite photographs.
“The world today doesn’t make sense,” Picasso famously said, “so why should I paint pictures that do?”
Composite photography is a combination of photography and digital art which is something that I've been really wanting to get into for some time now but never got around to it. With that being said, I've decided to commit my self to creating at least one composite photograph per month in order to feed the artist side of me and to keep my sanity 😜.
Many of these images will be inspired by other photographers and some of them will be things that I imagine or dream of. This style of art allows me to use not only my own photographs but also use photographs that other photographers have taken and use them in combination with mine to create surreal and unimaginable composites (which is another reason I wanted to start this blog series). To properly give those artists/photographers the credit they deserve.
So without any more gibberish, welcome to the imagination series.
